Dr. Stephanie D Story, ND, CNS, grew up in a rural setting in upstate New York. Her early experiences in nature grew into a love of nature that has persisted through the years. Dr. Story attended the University of Rochester where she received her Bachelor's degree. She then received her Master of Science degree from the University of Georgia. Later Dr. Story received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine (now National University of Natural Medicine, NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. NUNM is a thriving accredited Naturopathic medical school where natural therapies and programs are taught and employed clinically to establish and restore patient’s health and quality of life.

"I've been a patient of Dr. Story for three years. 2 1/2 years prior to our introduction I was able to confirm through various means (outside the traditional medical system) that I suffered from Leaky Gut and Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity, which was the primary cause of 20+ years of chronic migraines (sometimes as many and 15 per month) and poor gut health. I had maintained a traditional gluten free and lactose free diet for the prior 2 1/2 years with fairly good results. However, I couldn't seem to gain complete freedom from the migraines or the gut issues, and the traditional medical specialists & practitioners were ineffective at getting to the source of the issue(s). I felt that having the expertise of both a Naturopathic Doctor as well as a Certified Nutritionist would be key to regaining both my mental and physical health. I found these two areas of specialty in Dr. Story and it was a great fit for me. Through testing and observation Dr. Story was able to determine that I should be on a 'grain-free' diet and that I needed targeted nutrient and mineral supplementation, as well as detox to bring proper balance to my system. It's been a successful and educational three-year journey, and I'm at the point now where the migraines are virtually a thing of the past. My energy level and mental acuity are now super, and in my last annual medical check-up with my medical team I was told that all of my numbers would be the envy of most of their patients.
